Original artwork by King Kuka (Kingsley Daniel King Kuka) 1946-2004. Kuka was a Blackfeet Artist originally from Browning Montana, he died in 2004 in Great Falls Montana. He attended the Institute for Native American Art in Santa Fe, NM, graduated in 1965. He also earned a BA in fine Arts from the University of Montana in 1974. He painted sculpted and created embossed prints which were dubbed Kuka-graphs. This is an original Kuka-graph. The print is adhered to the mat which measures 18” by 20 1/4”. mat included no frame. Will be shipped flat. The print is very good condition with strong image. It is signed in ink in upper left and titled Star Woman, numbered 569/750 and also has some Blackfeet writing.
