Own a MEC Reloader and having a hard time trying to find the old metal spindexes (the "pre-crimpers")?  MEC quit making metal ones years ago and as a result they are as hard to find as an honest politician.  Rather than make the metal spindex, MEC instead wants you to buy the new plastic ones to replace them.  But why throw away a perfectly good metal spindex sleeve change the whole station when all you need is the spindex?

Well, this part might be your answer:  it is a polymer spindex that fits into the old metal sleeve and pre-crimps your shells just like the metal ones.  Granted, it is not metal and is therefore not as durable, but it is made of a similar material to the new MEC plastic spindexes, and it is a fraction of the cost.  And it allows you to keep using your old pre-crimp station and metal sleeves, so you don't have to buy a whole new pre-crimping station for your reloader.

This particular one is for pre-crimping 6 sided shells and will work for both 20 gauge and 28 gauge shells.  I also have them for 8 sided shells (for both 12/16 gauge and 20/28 gauge) and can combine orders if you wish.

I know that you may be hesitant to use a plastic spindex when you would normally use a metal one, so I am offering the best warranty available through eBay: you have a full 60 days to try it.  If it doesn't work, just send it back and I'll give you your money back.  Simple as that.

Thank You for your interest and Happy Reloading!
