Features: Suitable for use on timber doors hinged on the left or right and requires key & lever handle operation. To suit doors up to 54mm thick. Deadbolt locked or unlocked by key from either side. Latch bolt withdrawn by lever handle from either side. Extended 20mm deadbolt for secure positive deadlocking and additional resistance against attack. 2234E may be keyed alike with 2134E. Pierced to accept bolt through furniture. Reversible latch bolt from outside of case. Anti-pick and anti-saw security Features: Available with square forend and striking plate. The 2234E series locks are recommended by insurance companies, kite marked to BS3621 - 2007 (British Standard) and has been approved by the police Secured by Design initiative. They are also covered by a 15 Year guarantee.
