1992 Press Photo Beau Thomas of The Cajun Tradition at the Festival Des Cadiens

This is an original press photo. Beau Thomas, fiddler for "The Cajun Tradition" a Cajun band from Mamou, Louisiana that was nominated for a Grammy award for traditional music in 1989. plays for the crowd. Approximately 400 persons showed up Sunday afternoon at the Firemen's Hall in Westwego from 1-8 p.m. for the Festival Des Cadiens. Fais Do-Do featuring dancing, food and live music from the Nonc Allie & the Basile Cajun Band. Admission was $6.00 for adults, and $3.00 for children. The event is annual and always draws big crowds. Photo measures 10 x 8 inches. Photo is dated 08-30-1992.
