YOU ARE PURCHASING 20 REPRODUCTION H.O. SCALE T-JET 500 AXLES. THESE AXLES ARE DESIGNED TO FIT YOUR ORIGINAL AURORA T-JET 500 CHASSIS. THESE AXLES CAN BE USED FOR THE FRONT AND REAR.
This axle is an exact copy of the original Aurora T-Jet short axle. The spline pattern and length exactly matches the original Aurora axle. They are made from 1/16" (.0625") stock 1018 steel and extra EFFORT was placed on making sure they are straight.
The splined areas on original Aurora axles can vary widely, probably due to both manufacturing tolerances and when they were made. The splined areas on these axles can vary in diameter from .0625" to about .0635" depending on how aggresive the splines were cut on a particular axle; a variation of approximately 1.6%.
This axle can be used on all T-Jet style chassis including Aurora, Johnny Lightning, Auto World and Dash.
