Note One:
  •  The base metal is marked unknown because I can not pinpoint the base metal having one type of metal, however, sterling silver is an alloy of silver which contains 92.5% by weight of silver and 7.5% by weight of other metals, usually copper.
Note Two:
  •     While it may be tempting to keep your favorite 925 sterling silver pieces on at all times, it's best to remove them before showering. The combination of soap, shampoo, hot water, steam, and general wear and tear in a shower environment can lead to tarnishing, discoloration, and physical damage.
Care Instruction:
  •    Combine half a cup of white vinegar and two tablespoons of baking soda in a glass. Put your sterling silver piece inside the mix and allow it to sit for three hours. Then rinse and buff dry.
