Tony Blackwell is a Kent based artist who specialises in capturing the essence of the landscapes of the south of England. He works in various media, acrylic, Gouache and oils. Although his work is concentrated, and attention to detail amid the scene is important to him, the subtle use of light illuminates his paintings, his influence in his use of colour and light is taken from directly from the impressionist painters of the 19^th century.

Tony Blackwell’s work can be found in collections in the United Kingdom and across Europe. The Osbourne Studio Gallery in London, also holds Tony’s work.
