Large beautifully detailed ancient Egyptian Winged Sphinx statue made of bronze or a heavy bronzed metal.  This Winged Sphinx with the body of a lion, wings of an eagle and face of a human has a greenish verdigris bronze finish and is sculpted with excellent detail especially in its feathered wings.  It's mounted to a black painted metal base.  This Sphinx was made as a stand alone statue or a bookend and could be used as either.  It measures 10" tall by 5.5" across by 3.5" wide, and weighs 3 lbs 10.7 oz.  It has lots of age that shows in the verdigris bronze finish wear.  An awesome piece for any collector.
