very rare Tibetan tantric rug used in the meditation practices of the Vajrayana school, representing Citipati (Chitipati), protective deity (Dharmapala) of the Buddhist pantheon of Tibet, posed in the form of two skeletons, one male and the other female, dancing (symbol of the eternal dance of death) and who have around their heads a halo of flames signifying change.
