1 - First Day Cover - Stamps in 4 (synthetic fabric stamp) Corinthians 2010 (Photo) Soccer
ABOUT THE STAMP
This synthetic fabric stamp features a partial drawing of Corinthians’ badge; the number 100 in gold, to symbolize the club’s centenary, and five stars: the smaller ones representing Brazilian championships, and the largest representing the FIFA Club World Cup. Partly covering these features, there is a footballer with the ball at his feet which expresses both the dynamic nature of soccer, and at the same time reflects the years that the club has been a part of Brazilian sport. Plain fabric was used as the print substrate with colors and motifs added using serigraphy and the application of fluorescent, luminous invisible paint, luminescent under UV light.
