rare tapis persan tribal de la confédération Khamseh, faisant partie du groupe très restreint de ce qu'on appelle les « tapis jardin » – en référence au Jardin du Paradis. Le champ, de couleur bleu nuit, est composé de deux moitiés presque identiques, comme un reflet dans un miroir; il constitue un premier jardin, avec un arbre de vie de chaque côté, ainsi qu'une multitude de décors végétaux et zoomorphes (notamment des oiseaux). À l’intérieur de ce jardin, il y a le médaillon en ivoire, qui à son tour symbolise un autre jardin, et dans chaque coin du tapis il y a un lion.

rare tribal Persian rug from the Khamseh confederation, part of the very restricted group of what are called “garden rugs” – in reference to the Garden of Paradise. The field, dark blue in color, is made up of two almost identical halves, like a reflection in a mirror; it constitutes a first garden, with a tree of life on each side, as well as a multitude of plant and zoomorphic decorations (notably birds). Inside this garden there is the ivory medallion, which in turn symbolizes another garden, and in each corner of the carpet there is a lion.
