German folding camera with a nice brown/black grained leather or leather-look finish. I initially thought this had a brown finish, but after input from helpful ebay members, I believe it probably started off black, but has lost some finish, leaving a brown finish.

Not familiar with this brand, but research suggests it dates to around 1931 when the Certonet benefitted from the addition of a wipe-clean card in a holder on the back of the camera, on which notes could be written.

It has radial lever focusing which was introduced when the previous update happened in 1928.

Compur shutter seems O.K. and the bellows are great. The only issues are:

1) The little knob that should be fixed to the slide out section has become detached.
2) I haven't had the back off, as I can't work out how to do it without risking damaging it.
3) The finish is a little dry and would probably benefit from a light coating of wax/polish.

If anyone has more knowledge of this brand than me and wishes to correct me on any of the above, I am happy to receive their comments!
