Some people also like to have a separate operator key where the user does not have access to full functions.
If you require this it can be purchased for around £4.00 from an online supplier.

To set the time and date:
* Insert x 2 AA batteries ( lift till roll cover up and you will see the battery compartment at the back.
* Turn key to off then switch on at the wall.
* 'O' will flash on the screen. This is language selection; press 0 for English then press CA.
It will then flash for date input. Input date (day/ month/ year) then press CA.
It will finally flash for the time. Enter time and press CA.
Done!
To use:
* Enter price on main keyboard ( left side) then enter a dept on right keyboard ( choose a number that you will link to your departments).
* Do this as many times as required.
* Press 'Sub-Total'
* Enter cash taken.
* Press 'CA'. Drawer will open and screen will show the change required.
