Offered here is an original 19" Patsy-Ann by Effanbee Doll Company – she was introduced in 1929 and is made of all composition with molded hair and marked with Pat. #1283558.  The molded hair is worn in the bobbed style of the 1920’s and there is chipping of the paint, particularly around the face.  There is some slight crazing as one would expect for a doll of this age.  The sleep eyes are metal with attached short upper eyelashes and very lightly painted upper/lower lashes.  There are red dots at the inner aspect of both eyes and nostrils.  The closed mouth is painted bright red.  It is surprising what good condition she is in although I did recently re-string her.  She is offered as pictured and described – she comes without clothes and while she would be easy to restore, with a bonnet hat could cover the head issues, she wold be in original played with condition.
