Beautiful antique pocket knife made by Russell. This is a late 1800/early 1900s pocket knife made in the United States.

The knife is a Barlow pattern and features saw cut bone handles. The handles have some dents/dings and two tight pin cracks that are very stable. The handles are a very nice color. The bolsters have the Russell logo with the arrow going through and are in good shape with some minor pitting.

The blade is a spearpoint blade shape and has a full length sledge running on the spine on both sides. The tang stamp is a block lettered “Russell” that is arched. I believe this is a pretty early tang stamp. The blade has some minor chips in the edge, but is pretty sharp. It retains. It’s normal blade shape but has some pitting. The snap is absolutely fantastic in all positions!!

This is a beautiful early knife by a desirable US company.
