This is an original press photo. The four U.S. Astronauts that make up the primary and backup crews of GT5, the third manned Gemini flight, that will last seven days. The Astronauts from Bottom to top are: Air Force Major L. Gordon Cooper, pilot, Navy Lieutenant Commander, Charles Conrad Jr., co-pilot, primary crews Civilians Nell A. Armstrong and Elliott M. See Jr., backup pilots. The flight will probably be made this fall. The four Astronauts answered newsmen's questions after they had been named at a regular Monday news briefing.Photo measures 8 x 10.25inches. Photo is dated 02-08-1965.
