Good condition original WWII Finnish Civil Guard Model 1928 Mosin Nagant bayonet that is maker marked “HACKMAN & CO.” on the left ricasso. Left side of guard has Civil War “=S=” marking. Bayonet has “S 36180” Civil Guard district marking on top of the tang for Pohjois Uudenmaa. Blade has mostly light brown patina. Hilt has mostly brown patina. Wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit with some normal handling marks. Lock button functions fine. Fitted in correct original ribbed steel scabbard that has nice original blue finish and no dents. A hard to find Finn Civil Guard M/28 bayonet that will make a fine addition to a collection.
