A beautiful cast iron bed. Restored Victorian bed . Owned for last 20years but only used as an occasional guest bed. Wider than a single but not quite a double , although two adults have shared and slept well. A reasonably firm mattress but very comfortable. Mattress very clean , non smoking household. The base is sprung traditional old style not slatted, supported by a wooden frame because of its unusual size. Downsizing requires it to be sold sadly .
