Here is a coffee pot or teapot (it has strainer holes) from the Duchess Anna Tea Service set. The tea/coffee pot is 9" tall with the lid in place.

Anna, Duchess of Bedfordshire is thought to be the originator of the tradition of Afternoon Tea. In the early Victorian era wealthy houses were serving evening meals later in the day and the gap between lunch and dinner seemed very long so the Duchess requested that she was served bread and butter, cake and tea in the middle of the afternoon. The Duchess Anna Tea Service was created in her honour.

The tea/coffee pot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. I don't think that it has been used.

I have other items in this pattern so please take a look at my other listings.
