This watch was reviewed by a jeweler.  His comments: The watch has not been serviced in a while. Detrition on hands.  Missing luminous on hands. Glass crystal is scratched.  He believes it is the original band that came with the watch.  The band is small so this must have been for a lady or small man.  The inside of the watch say Acier Inox which translates to Stainless Steel.  The jeweler was impressed with the condition for its age.  When I researched there is a site to date Longines and this one dated to 1945.  Because of the dial (I think) it's considered a military watch.  Comes with original box and cloth cover as shown in pictures.  The watch works great.  The jeweler put a little oil on the stem because it was hard to set the time.  He said the watch originally lighted up in the dark but it doesn't light up now.  The hands can be replace with luminous hands if desired.  The number on the inside of the watch is 7057284.  I didn't realize the picture was blurred until later (sorry). The numbers on the back are 23252 172.  Great watch!
