The pinnacle of Aristo-Craft steam! 2-8-8-2 Articulated Mallet steam engine with Vanderbilt Tender (I also have an Undecorated USRA Long Tender that I could substitute if desired). This engine is amazing to watch as its’ two 8 wheel drive trains independently power the locomotive around the corners of your layout. The Vanderbilt tender (or USRA Ling Tender) is also Undecorated and is in like new condition.

Heavy, powerful, and capable. This beast is in excellent condition and has minimal wear (see pictures) on the wheels. It has been professionally inspected and lubricated prior to sale. See pictures for a detailed description of the manufacturers listed features.

This one is a keeper! There are some cheaper ones on the market (not Undecorated) but if you are going to purchase an engine of this caliber, the small difference in price is worth getting the best. I paid $120 to make sure everything was inspected, lubricated, and ready to go. No cracked gears, binding drive rods, or dried out journals.
