                        DESCRIPTION:

For auction is this beautiful art deco pressed glass bowl with lid.

Marked on the underside Made in England but don't know who the maker is or pattern.

Most likely part of a vanity set.

This uranium glass bowl is dating back to the art deco era 1920'S, to 30'S

In good vintage condition with a couple of tiny nibbles one on the base and other on the lid, also lid as a small chip on the inside rim.

As can be seen under UV light it shines beautifully into a very vivid green, as despite the small flaws it still displays beautifully.

I like to mention this as some people such as collectors, dealers including new buyers of glass tend not to look at faults or damage, but as part of the character and due to the age ,type of hand made or blown manufactured glass and are not usually mentioned in the main description of the listings.
