This is a BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE clear glass elephant figurine/paperweight made with the sommerso technique.  Red and blue colored glass is included within the glass making process so they create colored layers within the clear glass.  It's an AMAZING TECHNIQUE and a BEAUTIFUL EFFECT.  This elephant is holding his trunk up (the good luck pose) and is about 7 inches tall at the trunk.  He is 5.75 inches long and about 2 inches wide.  There are some included bubbled and a couple of ash inclusions in the glass.  The bottom is not polished, which is usually an indication that it was made in China, but there is no indication of country of manufacture.  He is in VERY GOOD CONDITION!  There are no cracks or scratches.  There is a chip on the bottom in the back that isnot visible from above (see the last 2 photos).
