A WD HO Wills Golden Poppy Cigarette Tobacco Packet Label

The whole sheet measures approx. 6.8x29.4cm

Provenance - This piece has come from Mardon, Son & Hall of Bristol. Their association with W.D. & H.O. Wills led to them being perceived as printers to the English tobacco trade. They were one of the first firms to utilise the inserted stiffening card placed in cigarette packets and they became part of the newly formed Imperial Tobacco Group in 1902.

I have many more items purchased from the company currently listed and will be listing more over the next few weeks, most of which are likely to be printer’s proofs so will not have gone to commercial printing and are one of a kind.

Photos act as part of the description so please have a look for an idea of condition and feel free to ask for further information.

I am happy to combine postage for multiple purchases.
