[War of 1812] Printed letter from Liverpool dated May 13, 1813 endorsed "p Holton," from Liverpool to Providence, RI, entered mails at Portland with thier "JUL" postmark and manuscript "July 8" date, Ship 19c due, the newspaper clipping from New-York Gazette of July 12, 1813 mentions that, "2 American ships, under Russian colors, from St. Petersburg arrived (in Liverpool) 3 days before she sailed. ... "
