Victorian butterfly brooch/pin, 9ct gold, 4 seed pearls to the body, 7 diamonds/3 sapphires/1 ruby to each wing, 2 ruby eyes, 2 fasteners for safety, i turns and clicks shut the other clasp pushes into place to keep the other shut, pin length 5cm, butterfly length 2.4cm, height 2cm, weight on my home scales 6 grammes probably over that but i do not have the correct weighing equipment, today i got it checked at a jewellers he confirmed it was 9ct gold with diamonds/rubies/sapphires and seed pearls, he used a laser piece of equipment and told me the laser cost well over 2000 to buy, he said the brooch was in very good condition for age.
