The Weeping Willow's Embrace: A Spirit of Remembrance (Gentle Presence)
Object: 3” x 7” Frog Vintage Planter (Cold Cast Resin)
The Spirit: Evelyn Wright (1953 - 1987)
A Sorrowful Spirit: This unassuming 3” x 7” vintage frog planter, crafted from cold cast resin, holds a story more profound than its unassuming exterior. Our team at Curious Curio Co., with over a quarter-century of paranormal experience, retrieved this planter from an unusual location – the trash heap of a graveyard in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Further investigation revealed the presence of Evelyn Wright, a gentle spirit lingering near the place of her forgotten rest.
Unearthing the Past: Rice Lake’s Meadowlawn Cemetery is known for its peaceful atmosphere. However, the discovery of this planter in the trash amidst a recent gravesite relocation sparked our curiosity. Using a combination of EVP recordings and historical research, we were able to identify Evelyn Wright, a young woman who passed away in 1987 at the tragically young age of 34. The official cause of death is listed as pneumonia, but whispers of a broken heart linger around Evelyn’s memory.
A Life Cut Short: Born in 1953, Evelyn Wright was a kind and artistic soul. Historical records paint a picture of a woman passionate about gardening and fascinated by the natural world. Through EVP recordings and communication facilitated by Regina, our resident witch and tarot master, we believe Evelyn nurtured a deep love that ended abruptly. The discarded frog planter, once used to cultivate vibrant flowers, may symbolize the dreams and joys lost with her untimely passing.
A Gentle Presence: While not highly active, Evelyn’s spirit makes her presence known in a subtle way. New owners of this frog planter may experience a sudden urge to nurture a houseplant, a reflection of Evelyn’s love for gardening. The faint scent of wildflowers, particularly violets, her favorite according to our investigation, may occasionally grace the air near the planter. Unexplained chills or whispers near the planter, particularly around the anniversary of her passing (believed to be in late summer), can also be signs of Evelyn’s presence.
A Lasting Comfort: Evelyn seeks solace and a connection with the living. Displaying the frog planter with a thriving houseplant and keeping a small bouquet of wildflowers (violets preferred) near it can offer Evelyn a sense of peace. Sharing stories about lost love or simply acknowledging Evelyn’s presence through quiet reflection can further strengthen the connection.
A Legacy of Remembrance: The Curious Curio Co. believes Evelyn’s spirit deserves a place of respect and remembrance. This frog planter, once discarded, can now serve as a vessel for Evelyn’s memory and a reminder to cherish the beauty and fragility of life. If you seek a gentle spectral companion and are willing to offer a touch of kindness to a forgotten soul, the Weeping Willow’s Embrace may be the perfect addition to your haunting collection.
Happy Haunting (and May Evelyn Find Peace)!
