This charming vintage bookend set folds open to hold books (CDs, DVDs, BluRay) between matched hand carved fence panels. The wood is dark - maybe maple?

The fence panels are 6 1/4" tall. The space between the two panels is 12 3/4 inches. Total length and width of the base is 15" x 6 1/2".

The wood is old and has some distressing, including what looks like a bit of water staining where the books sit, and little chips, etc., to the fence panel corners. It has no manufacturing mark, but only the numbers 35, and 8.
