Catholic Nun doll from around the mid-1950's. She stands at about 11.5" - 12" tall. Please refer to photos for more details on her condition - I have tried to photograph all angles and possible defects. To my eye, I can find no rips, tears, stains, etc. :)

Rare and difficult to find more information on! When compared to other similar nun dolls, she appears to have been manufactured by a now-defunct company named D&D Mfg. Co. Without the original box and with no other identifying marks on the doll itself, it's difficult to confirm this 100%.

Her face appears hand-painted, with unique variations in the depth of her blush and bottom eyelashes, as well as the paint details of her white shoes.

Eyes open & close, but are not 'sleepy eyes' - they must be manipulated to open and close by hand.

She is ADORABLE and for me verges on creepy-cute. Truthfully I fear I may have a hard time parting with her... :)

Thanks so much for looking! Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any more questions.
