Not sure if this is the one HW GREENWOOD SR.of Houston, Texas  was involved with. I suspect it was. He was a relative of mine. Why I have a couple of Sepia Magazines to sell. I believe he told me that tis magazine was not put out as expected because the "RED NECKS" in Chicago refused to put it on the news stands. It caused my Dad to go bankrupt when I was 3 or 4. Think he handled and sold the Advertising.

An impressive magazine for the time. Very educational as to the events of he day. This has been in an acid free box since 1990's.
My Dad was very proud of his involvement .

The magazine has a tear on one page but it is not torn off and is still readable. One page is loose.
There is a letter on the page before the back page saying this is the Fifth Issue with a Circulation of 200,000 by Ofelia J Dixon. Managing Editor

I hope this finds it's way into the hands of those who know the history of this magazine. I have looked it up and not much is written about this period of it's publication. If I can answer any questions or provide other photos to help you decide please let me know.
some of the photos due to lighting challenges because I have edited them to lighten them up before and after photographing them.
