1970 Sears & Roebuck Model 306.12951100 Parlor Guitar. Made in Japan, In very good condition. Original chipboard case. This one is easy to date, Sears stopped building guitars in Japan in 1970. Also 1970 was the change in production as well as the 1st time the Sears S&R Atom logo was used on the headtock. Very nice qualitiy build with nice materials. Sound great, loud projection from a parlor guitar. Great for finger picking and it loves the blues as well. Neck is straight, Low action, no fret buzzing or dead spots. Frets have very little wear and are smooth on the ends. 18 frets with a 1 3/4" nut. fretboard it's self is 15 1/2 ". Bridge is not glued to body, it can be adjusted up or down to your favorite spot and stays put when strings are tight. I have it set now at about a 23 1/2" play scale that seems to work best for me and makes string height near perfect. Guitar is 36"L X 13" W X 3 1/2 D. No wood damage, no neck seperations, no bulging of body. Has plenty of little scuffs and lite scratches on the back from 54 years of playing. Has a small indentation on back as well. The case shows it's age. Rusting hardware, threads popping and lots of scuffs and wear but it is still doing it's job. Happy to answer any questions. Will use extreme caution when packing for shipment. Standard shipping is inside 48 states only. UPS Ground.
