ANTIQUE TIN LINED HUMIDOR BOX

Wonderful antique large oblong humidor box made from dark walnut (I think) - measures 11-3/4" wide, 7-7/8" deep and 4" tall. Designed to hold cigars, tobacco and similar smoking items, interior is tin lined as shown - exterior top is accented with a lovely hand carved decorative piece with minor staining as shown - mounted with two tiny brass pin nails.

Condition is very nice with no cracks, repairs, worm holes, or damage other than typical minor scuffing and usage marks - tin lining is still shiny and without rust - hinges work fine - it can be locked, but I do not have the key (sorry!). This could have also been designed to hold tea or spices - it is a large and elegant piece - wonderful addition to any tobacciana collection or display!
