Absolutely gorgeous vintage chrome silver body turtle hotel desk bell. A rarer variety of the famous Spanish BOJ turtles. This is a silver colored one rather than the typical brass gold color. It is also slightly larger than the brass colored bells. This has a head to tail length of 5.5” and width of 3” as opposed to the smaller brass bells that are 4.5” long and 2.5” wide. This has an inscription of “Gernika Ko Arbola” or “Tree of Gernika”. Gernikako Arbola ("the Tree of Gernika" in Basque) is an oak tree that symbolizes traditional freedoms for the Biscayan people, and by extension for the Basque people as a whole. This is a region of the northetn Spanish coast. Very unique!! This little guy winds up and works perfectly when his head or tail is pressed. Nice heavy brass metal construction and incredible shell decoration.

This vintage brass hotel bell from BOJ Eibar Espana is a stunning addition to any decor. With a turtle character, bordered pattern, and Spanish style, it's perfect for all occasions. The bell is small in size but big in charm, and the wind-up mechanism ensures that it works beautifully.

Made in Spain in the 1960s, this bell has a timeless appeal that is hard to resist. The brass finish gives it a warm glow, and the attention to detail is evident in every aspect. Whether you're a collector of bells or just looking for a unique piece to add to your home, this turtle bell is sure to impress.
