I’ve put together a WONDERFUL collection of jewelry to start off the month of May. Highlights include the final part of a large and extraordinary collection of bakelite along with many rare and exceptional pieces of designer costume. Up for auction is a handsome antique Arts & Crafts sterling silver and genuine citrine ring. The ring features a large pale smoky yellow citrine surrounded by a leaf and berry design in sterling silver. The ring is a size 7.5 and the face measures approx 1 1/8” x 7/8”. I can find no hallmark, but the piece has been tested and is guaranteed to be sterling silver. The stone is also guaranteed to be genuine. There is some light surface scratching to the stone.
