Traditional country style chair, wonderful patina/wear. Saddle seat cut from a single piece of solid Elm, wide fitting at 46.5cm, very comfortable and tall backrest at 89cm. The frame is constructed from Beech with turned legs and serpentine armrests. 

The chair is structurally very strong and made to last in true Victorian style.  Condition is amazing aesthetically, with years of handling, polishing and love. However, historic woodworm has affected the seat and parts of the backrest uprights so please view all photos. I have treated the chair for woodworm so I'm confident all the affected areas were from many years ago and no longer active.
