This heavy, porcelain enamel metal sign advertised Donald Duck brand Soft Drinks. It is marked “WALT DISNEY STUDIOS”. Circa 1950s.

It is used and worn with some chips to the enamel and areas of rust as pictured. It is left as found and uncleaned as many collectors prefer original patina. Please view all pictures for overall condition as this sign is sold as is. Measures approximately 6” in diameter.

A brief history… Donald Duck Soft Drinks is a line of soda from General Beverages, Inc. Introduced at the American Bottlers of Carbonated Beverages convention in 1952, flavors include black cherry, grape, lemon lime, orange, root beer, strawberry, ginger ale, lime, cherry, cream soda, and a cola made with “the improved Pemberton formula”. Clarence Nash, the voice of Donald Duck, made a series of nationwide appearances to promote the brand.

A fantastic addition to your collection or decor.
