These nails have a great look and were used to hold the wood plaster lath or roof shingles.


  • These nails likely were machine made in the early 1900s.
  • These shingle nails have blunt points to reduce wood splits
  • They were in a wood nail keg
  •  They would give a nice rustic look to your project.
  • These could be used on boxes, crafts, or cabinet making.
  • Galvanized is recommended for all exterior applications.
  • Can be used for furniture repairs, cabinet work, batten doors and many other uses.
  • The galvanized coating has nicely aged to a dull gray and a few have a light rust on them
  • These nails are 1 3/4" long.
  • The heads are around 1/4 round
  • The nails are 3/16 x 1/8" square and taper to a blunt point.
