From South Africa, a Premium Uncirculated 1oz Fine Silver Krugerrand dated 2017. This was the first year of issue of the Silver Krugerrand. It commemorates the 50^th anniversary of the gold Krugerrand and has the “50” privy mark on the reverse.

Reverse frosting (plain designs, frosted fields). Comes encapsulated with a certificate.

Unlike subsequent issues, these coins were struck by the South African Mint. They were issued encapsulated in plastic wrapped rolls of 25 accompanied by a bundle of 25 certificates. This coin was selected from one of these rolls, and the roll it came from is in the images.
