Attractive three book bundle of 1930's decorative books. All from the same series with a decorative spine which has a gold Pegasus. The front has a blind stamped design.

The books are:
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Vanity Fair by W.M Thackeray
Vicar of Wakefield & she Stoops to Conquer (one volume) Oliver Goldsmith

Each has an illustrated frontis showing a portrait of the author by a contemporary artist.
The books are all in very good condition. They are clean and bright with textured blue cloth  covers. They are all fully intact with minimal marking and tight binding.

They do have an age tone and some grubbiness to the exterior edge of the page block which is sprayed blue at the top as you would expect in books of this age. There is some crushing of spine ends. There is no lean but generally tight binding, no loose or missing pages. Some minor cracking. Vanity Fair is cracked back to the webbing between the frontis and title as you can see in the photo. Some minor bumping to corners on a couple, no rubbing.

All of my books are vintage and antiquarian so will show signs of age and sometimes use. Please check the photos carefully and contact me before buying if you have any queries.
