This lovely handbag has a jeweled clasp set with genuine carnelian gemstones, and the original chain handle has filigree drops at the ends set with smaller carnelian gemstones as well.  The fabric that the clutch is made of is fabulous!  It is made of silver and gold lame brocade and is covered in figures, male and female in various standing positions inside and outside what appears to be a palace and a courtyard.  The interior of the purse is done in pale gold colored silk satin.  The clasp flips up and is used to "pop" open the purse.  The purse closes tightly and securely with no gaps.
