1930s Hand Painted Celluloid SOCCER Player Boy Kicking Ball Toy, Helmet, Japan

1930s DOLL

Neat vintage molded celluloid doll wearing an old style helmet - he holds a round ball in one hand, embossed to resemble a soccer ball - one leg/foot is canted so that it will move into a kicking position - arms and one leg can be positioned - he has charming hand painted features - marked MADE IN JAPAN on the back.

Condition is excellent with no holes, cracks, separation, discoloration or damage - paint looks great and I see no dents - I can feel a hint of roughness on his button nose, but find no damage other than a production flaw with my loop. Amazing that he has survived! Fun addition to any collection of either football or soccer sport toys!
