King William III Silver Sixpence 1697 – High Collector’s Grade - ex-Baldwins


This is a rare King William III Silver Sixpence from 1697, in high collector's grade and previously owned by Baldwins. The coin has a denomination of Sixpence and was minted in the early milled era (c.1662-1816) in the United Kingdom with a fineness of 0.925. It is a highly sought-after item for coin collectors and has a PAS number of Bull 1233, ESC 1566, Spink 3538. This item is a great addition to any collection and is a piece of British history.

William III (1694-1702), Sixpence, 1697, third laureate and draped bust right, longer hair ties, rev 2: large crowned cruciform emblematic shields, lion of Nassau at centre, later harp, date either side of English shield, edge grained (Bull. 1233, ESC.1566, S.3538).
