42 BEAUTIFUL DUFAYCOLORS TAKEN IN INDIA IN THE 1930s AND 1940s, ALL BY THE SAME PHOTOGRAPHER, SIR GEOFFREY CHURCH RAMSDEN

All are mounted on black card and most are annotated as to location

These images are from an archive of dufaycolors and glass slides that belonged to Sir Geoffrey Church Ramsden (1893 - 1990) who was an Indian Civil Servant in the last years of the British Raj.

Places include Pahcmari, Jubbulpore District, Manote, Chapara, Mandla, Asirgarh Fort, Ramakona, Bastar State, Dindori, Saugor, etc.

See scans for quality, in good condition bar staining to some. Many are very light in colour. Scanning dufaycolors precisely is very difficult and it is not always easy to show the true colours or represent the darkness of dufaycolors. They measure 5.75 inches by 4.25 inches approx including the mount.
