This unusual Poole Delphis shape 91 dish is 12.25" (31cm) x 8" (20cm)
I'm pretty sure this dish dates from the early days of Delphis in the 1960's when the very pale blue colour and the sought after orange peel glaze were still part of the Delphis palette
It has all the usual factory marksincluding the dolphin logo mark number 47 that was in use from 1966 to 1980 but I can't identify the decorator's mark which is a row of three large dots
It is in great condition with no chips, cracks or scratches although there are a couple of light brown stains on the back
It will make a fine addition to your collection or a super gift
