1977 Sportscaster Card 03 005 03-19 - Phil & Tony Esposito - NEAR MINT condition. These cards measure 4-3/4" x 6-5/16" and were issued 10 at a time by Editions Rencontre S.A., Lausanne. Two all-time NHL greats, Phil was the league scoring leader six times and NHL MVP in 1969 and 1974, while Tony was NHL Rookie of the Year in 1970 and won the Vezina Trophy in 1970, 1972, and 1974. Phil had the single-season NHL scoring record of 152 and goals scored of 76, until a guy named Gretzky came along. Printed on relatively thin stock (which makes them hard to find in premium condition), each card features at least one photo on the front and a thorough biography and the player's vital statistics and awards and records on the back. Remember, this card is in NEAR MINT condition. See the scan for the great photo of Worsley.
