This is a manual retractable FM/AM/LW wing aerial specifically for the Renault Megane Convertible (Cabriolet Cabrio) model manufactured from approximately 1997 to 2003 that utilises the ball-top type of fitting where the aerial is located through a push-fit rubber grommet in the rear wing panel. It is a good quality aerial with a four-section 89 cm chrome mast with a black tip. All components under the wing are metal, unlike many after-market replacement aerials, which now tend to have inferior plastic components.
Supplied complete with the correct 38.5°replacement rubber grommets to fit the existing 32 mm x 27 mm oval wing opening.
This manual aerial can also be easily fitted in place of the electric aerial as the grommet fitting was common to both and the existing coax connection screws directly onto the neck of the replacement aerial. A universal lower mounting bracket is included.
