from inland / east Nigeria, West Africa, living on the right banks of the Benue River

these tribes are known for their small figures with splayed legs and arms

she has small breasts as from an eldery woman, sturdy feet, extensive tribal scars on her face and back, a star shaped carving around her navel, holes for earrings

on several parts of the body there are remains of red paint or patine

eyes and nostrils are as pin-pricks

condition: evident old loss of one leg, both her hands and a part of her right breast, no cracks in the wood, beautifull authentic smooth patina

height: 24 cm / ca. 9.45 inch

weight: 190 gram / ca. 0.42 lbs
