The brilliantly gifted arranger-conductor John Wilson leads his band – comprising the cream of the UK’s session/studio musicians – through a sparkling selection of numbers famously associated with legendary American arranger-composer-bandleader Paul Weston. The arrangements heard on this CD are those that were actually written and recorded by Paul Weston during the 1950s and ’60s, all of which help lend this CD that elusive authentic ‘touch’.

Recorded at Abbey Road Studio No.2, London, 14-16 May 2003
