Description
A chocolate mould all little pirates will love ! To make gold dubloons at home, simply pour in your melted chocolate and allow to set in the fridge. Great project to do with the kids on a rainy day. Ideal for cupcake toppers, general sweets or wrap in foil for "Pirate Treasure" in kids party bags. You can even use them to make your own crayons (loads of how to videos on YouTube) or soap.... that's one way to encourage kids to get clean !
It's quite a large mould compared to many of our other chocolate mould designs.
This mould (design registered by Sarah-Jane Nash, January 2012) makes six large coins and nine of the smaller ones. Enough to keep any fierce pirate happy for quite a while ! I've photographed one of each on my hand to give you an idea of the scale (and I take large sized gloves - so don't have the daintiest of hands ...)
Our pirate mould is also excellent for using with sugarpaste / gumpaste (but if doing so, do grease very lightly with Crisco or Trex before use) Chocolate and sugarpaste pirate coins make awesome cupcake toppers, but are also super given as a gift in a little cello bag. They're so lovely to munch on !
Overall mould measurements : 315mm x 185mm
Small Pirate Coin - 35mm dia x 6.7mm thick (7g approx solid chocolate weight)
Large Pirate Coin - 50mm dia x 7.5mm thick(35g approx solid chocolate weight)

Returns
Should you wish to return an item for refund, please contact us first. Items must arrive back in new, resalable condition to the address below within 14 days. After this period, a restocking charge will apply.
