This is a genuine Jaguar rubber sealing grommet bush specifically for the ball top type Hirschmann AUTA 6000 EL-F and AUTA 6000 KE-F (Jaguar part numbers DAC3579 and  DAC6767) electric aerials and power antennas fitted to the Jaguar XJS, XJ-S, XJR-S Coupe, Convertible, Cabrio and Cabriolet 6 cylinder & V12 models from the early 1980's up to approximately 1994. It is angled at 16º and fits the 25 mm diameter hole in the rear wing/fender. This is a genuine Jaguar Original Equipment OE item, as supplied to the factory by the OE aerial antenna supplier Hirschmann, under part number DAC3588, and not an inferior quality, after-market copy now supplied by many Jaguar specialists. This is normally also suitable as a replacement for the discontinued grommet seal LHD4131AA for the later Harada LHD4120AA and LHD4120BA ball top type aerials fitted to XJS models manufactured from VIN 190528 (1994 to 1996 model years)

If your grommet has become perished, lost, cracked, or become discoloured with over-spray or car wax, this will restore your car's aerial antenna to its original appearance. On early models the grommets can deteriorate and let in rain water to the boot/trunk. Jaguar recommends the grommet is replaced if the aerial is removed and replaced. We can also supply the genuine replacement Hirschmann aerial and aerial mast.
